REVIEW: GAVIN CHAPPELL-BATES BRAND NEW EP WHICH IS SET TO BE RELEASED ON THE 5TH OCTOBER 2015.

Gavin has done it again with the smooth and warm vocals throughout the EP.
starting with the title of the the whole EP ‘ We Are The Ones’ upbeat and catchy.A strong melody which captures it perfectly throughput the whole of the song.
As for Gavin’s vocals you really feel what the song is and what he is singing about.
setting a more future scenario in this song and gives you the feeling everything is on the up for Gavin which is definitely a good sign so be ready to hear a lot more of him.
Track 4 is the acoustic version of ‘WeAreTheOnes’ which is stripped back but still very pleasant to listen too which I love when bands and artists do this.

’95’ track two which was his second single and vocals are straight away heard and are very clear, mellifluous and very pleasant to listen too.
Lyrics in this song ’95’ lighten and inspire throughout the whole song and fits with the backing music fantastically but also takes us down Gavin’s memory lane of his summer in ’95’.

Track 3 ‘Loneliness ( A song for You and Me) is a much deeper song, starting with a deep guitar solo which sets a mood for the whole song.
Gavin’s vocals are so sincere and you can hear it which shows that he is able to write something that this personal and make it as a message for fans and thats wonderful.
vocally and instrumentally this is a distinctive song and really tells you a lot about Gavin and that we do get lonley but there’s always something better to come along.
