A TRIO CALLED ‘ THE TRUEBELLES’ ARE SET TO MAKE YOU DANCE YOUR NIGHT AWAY WITH THEIR LATEST SINGLE ‘MISTER NOBODY’  AND WHAT ELSE DO THEY PLANNED

What is your bands name?
The Truebelles
How did you come up with the name?
It’s a faux take on 1940’s Americana. The word Belle comes from that. We like the way Amy Winehouse mixed it up with hip hop, jazz and 1960’s culture.
What is your genre of music?
The genre is good songs. We like to mix it up. We like to dance.
Give us a little bio about you as a band and individuals.
Lorena is the lead vocal on Mister Nobody although we take turns on lead vocals. Grace has emotional versatility as a singer and Tallulah is the most developed as a songwriter. We share a passion for seeing more a dynamic and healthy representation of women in the media.

What made you go in to music?
Grace: Freddie Mercury.
Tallulah: Passion.
Lorena: I can’t remember I was singing before I could speak.
Are you a signed?
We are a collective as much as a band or act. We all have individual projects and we do The Truebelles because we love it not really because we are legally bound to it.
Your brand new Pop single ‘Mister Nobody is out, what an you tell us about it?
It’s straight forwardly about standing up for yourself. its about a man who can’t find his own way so he relies on a woman too much so she has to stand up for herself for both their sakes.
Tell us more about the title of the single process.
Our producer came up with it. We think it’s really about him.
What was the recording process like?
We work with a writer producer on the Truebelles we make alot up in the recording studio. It was recorded at Katie Melua’s keyboardist’s studio.
What was the writing process like?
The writing, recording and producing processes all bleed into each other on this project.
Who did you show Mister Nobody to first?
We played it to a film director as we knew right away it was the song we wanted to launch with.
Will we see an Album or Ep this year?
Most of the album is recorded we had to break off a few times as Tallulah was filming for Television and Lorena had some huge Gigs at the O2 in Scottland.
Do you have any gigs coming up, if so where will you be heading?
We plan to do a few low key spots although it depends how well the single does.
Do you play any instruments?
Tallulah: I play Guitar.
Lorena: I write top line melodies and use a work station so I play synth.
Grace: Keyboards in the studio.
Who are your influences?

Grace: Freddie Mercury, Chromeo, Christina Aguilera… Too many to mention. Prince also.

Tallulah: Kate Bush. I really like a lot of electronica such as Oh Wonder, James Blake. So many.
Lorena: Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Jamiroquai, Jill Scott, Santana, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder.
Tallulah, youve had experience in the Enetertainment industry doing voice over and currently in the top 12 of Britains Next Top Model which congrataulations might we add… what is the best advice you’ve been given and passed it on?
Lorena: I did some ADR for Margo Robbie’s Jane in the Tarzan movie, best advice is “learn from your mistakes”.
Tallulah: best advice “go for it”.
Grace: from mother. it’s “failing to prepare, is preparation for failure”
How do you get inspiration to write songs?
Grace; you just start somewhere and then keep going until you finish.
Lorena: If you are a good listener it helps you. You pick up on all kinds of sounds from your environment and it helps to inspire.
Tallulah: it’s comes from deep inside.
How do you prepare?
We get naked under a full moon.
Would you be up for collaborations with other artists if so how could they contact you?
Grace: Yes.
Lorena: Maybe
Tallulah: Don’t call us we’ll call you.
Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?
Tallulah; in the mirror.
Grace: Running the Queen Vic in Eastenders. Is that show still on ?
Lorena: I’d like to Expand from my ADR and do some Character movie acting.
When you’re not doing music, what do you do?
Tallulah: Paint, modelling also.
Grace: I like to relax with my cats although I live with a guitar player so there is always music.
Lorena: Acting.
What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more in to the music scene?
In harmony: ….”to many to mention”
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
(Already answered as above)

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?
Grace: if you’re a quitter, Quit. If you’re a sticker, stick.
Tallulah: if you’re a shitter, shit.
Lorena: Amen.
What quote or saying do you always stick by?
Tallulah: We don’t, were flexible.
You get off a plane in your hometown,

1/ where is the first place you visit

2/ where is the first place you see

3/ where is the first food place you go and what do you get

Grace: it’s the same for all three Mum at home.

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?
Lorena: Five fingers to open to mic drop when you smash the gig.
You work with Quite Great PR, how did that come about?
Grace: We got our producer to call Pete Bassett and we all went to meet that one man legend and he loves us.
Do you have social media accounts so your fans can follow you?
Tallulah: Yes we do. (Mimes mic drop)
Grace: ha-ha
Lorena: funny girl.

REVIEW: ITS THE LATEST RELEASE FROM BELLMAN IS HERE, THE ALBUM IS CALLED ‘MORPHOLOGY’ AND ITS AVAILABLE ON ALL PLATFORMS

Singer and Songwriter Bellman is back to his magic again with his lastest release.

Consisting of 8 tracks that all different yet piecing the album together!
Track 1 ‘ Coloured By You’
The song reminds me of something that would be on a tv/Dom when it first starts, when characters are in a a predicament and it goes quiet and builds the episode/film up which it also allow you to get a feel of the rest of the song.

With the dream-pop genre running straight through this song it takes you on a journey which just makes you listen to the lyrics and see if you can relate or not.

The lyrics are interesting and clear to understand which clashes perfect with the instrumental accompaniments and make it more engaging and creative.
Track 2 ‘Getaway’

A heavy echo feel throughout and Bellmans strong vocals come over the top and flows sraight through.

Again having a dream-pop deel but feels a serious track and its mind blowing.
The whole album gives out a lot yet sill very enjoyable to listen too

DAVID MARK BULLEY AND I CHAT GIGS,TOURS AND HIS BRAND NEW ALBUM OUT THIS SUMMER!

What is your name?

Hello, my name is David Mark Bulley.

What is your genre of music?

My genre of music is pop/rock.

Give us a little bio about you.

I am a singer/songwriter from London, England. Currently writing my debut album which is penned for release this Summer.

Are you a signed?

No, I’m an unsigned artist.

You released the video for your track ‘Where Do We Go From Here’ tell us meaning behind the track

The meaning behind this song is don’t always trust the people that surround you. Certainly within the music industry there are a lot of people out there who have a hidden agenda.

What was the making of the video like?

It was incredible. So many people were involved in creating this video.

How was it to record?

It was fun but very cold. The locations for the video were all outside and it was about 1 degree that day.

Do you have any best moments from creating the video?

I think my favourite moment in the film is that realisation on the bridge where we see the story unfolding. The shots are incredible and it’s everything that I wanted it to be.

Do you have any gigs coming up?

Yes I have.

If so where will you be heading?

I’m currently on tour with my good friend Sylwia Przybysz in Poland on her album headline tour the ‘Tylko Raz Tour’.

Will we see an EP or Album and if so what can you tell us?

Yes!!! My album will be out this Summer. We don’t have exact dates yet but what I will say is all of these songs come from personal experiences and from the heart.

What made you go into music?

I grew up surrounded by music so I knew it was something I always wanted to do.

Do you have any festivals you will be playing this year?

I actually just announced my first festival appearance in Burton upon Trent in the UK. I love festivals and hope to appear at a few this Summer. It’s my favourite type of show to play.

Do you play any instruments?

I play the piano… a little. Behind closed doors!!!

Who are your influences?

I’m very inspired by artists that came from similar backgrounds such as Adele. She worked her way up from nothing and it’s incredible to see her history and story.

How do you get inspiration to write songs?

People, life experiences. I write all my songs from personal experiences i’ve gone through.

Where do you see yourself now in 5 Years?

I hope to be travelling the world with my music.

You work with Black Rainbow PR, how did that come about?

They have been so supportive of me for a long time now. They have so much knowledge in the music industry and I’m so happy that they’ve decided to go into the PR business.

When you’re not doing music, what do you do?

I love to travel. Visit and explore new places.

What was the song you listened to most that influenced you to go more into the music scene?

I was obsessed with a band called Paramore…. I still am!!!! Just watching them evolve and grow as a band really inspired me. I remember watching them at Download Festival in 2007 to a tent of about 300 people and then seeing them headline Reading and Leeds Festival to 50,000+ … such an incredible timeline for them.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?

Stay true to yourself and remember why you are doing this.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians not about the industry and just as an artist?

I’d say remember where you came from and why you do what you do. Remember who your true friends are and keep them close. They will be the ones that support you forever.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?

Dreams can come true, don’t let anyone tell you different.

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?

This is so tough because I’m really easy when it comes to gigs but I’d have to say …
1. My phone for snapchat. I always snapchat my performances for fans who can’t attend the show.

2. My tour camera. I love to blog/vlog my adventures on tour.

3. Skinny jeans… I live in them.

4. Sweatpants for the long travelling

5. Water!! Or a beer for after the show!

Do you have social media accounts so your fans can follow you?

 I certainly do!!!

‘I HAVE FOUR NAMES’ IS BACK WITH A BRAND NEW ALBUM ‘IH4N’ MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A LISTEN

I Have Four Names is from Sydney and just want to showcase his music to the world with love and he definitely does it. Bass Driven Rock with some electro twinge to make them fun!

Track one is the same as the Album name ‘IH4N’ basically when I saw this I thought it’s an introductory and it definitely was, even though I have heard his last release in 2015 ‘The Other Hand Is Always Greener’ it stills gives that impression that this is what he wanted to do.

Track 2 ‘ The Other Hand Is Always Greener’  a heavy upbeat song that has a costant flow of his creativeness that you want to get on repeat!

vocally rough but still so calming to listen to I think it shows who IHFN is all about perfectly!

Then moves on to track 3 ‘ Are We Clear,Krystal’ again a deep heavy feel but still has instrumental that’s makes it unique and catchy lyrics to sing along too.
This is just three of the sixteen tracks on the album which just takes you a musical journey and wows everytime

READY TO FOLLOW UP THEIR EP ‘EL DORADO’ ITS ‘DRAWING NORTH’  WHO CHATS TO ME ABOUT THEIR NEW EP SET TO DROP IN SPRING,PROGRESSIONIS KEY AND THESE GUYS ARE  CERTAINLY READY TO SHOW US!

What are your names?Drew, Po and Jake

What is the band’s name?

Drawing North

How did you come up with the band’s name?

It came originally from a play on words of my name – Drew Southwell Draw/Drawing from Drew, North from Southwell and we all liked it and decided that it could also represent an adventure. The North aspect kind of symbolized venturing out of our home of Australia and pursuing music in America and other parts of the world.

What is your genre of music?

Alternative pop

Give us a little bio about you individually and as a band.

I’m a songwriter/producer and I’ve been playing musical instruments since I was a child. I’ve written with a large number of other writers in America through my travels, which in turn helped us acquire our visas to live here! We started the band in in 2010 but didn’t really take it seriously until a few years ago. When we recorded and released our debut album El Dorado which peaked at #3 on iTunes through Universal Music. We’ve played over 200 shows and have showcased at festivals such as SXSW, Sundance Film Festival, Vans Warped Tour and more. Our next EP comes out this year!

You are set to release a new EP this spring, tell us more about it.

We recorded it end of last year on a beautiful beach on the central coast of Australia with a producer named Andy Mak with whom I co-produced it with. We did 5 songs and we’ll be releasing a bunch of singles before the EP drops later this year. The first is called Stay and comes out April 5!

It is a follow up to your LP El Dorado , what is different about the new EP?

The style has progressed and we’ve grown as writers and musicians. I’d say the music is current and the production elements are a bit more electronic.

Some of your previous tracks have been endorsed by Joel Madden, How did that come about?

One of our first songs we released was a song called Timepiece and we did an acoustic video for it. He somehow stumbled upon it and tweeted about it saying how much he liked it and for everyone to check it out. It was really cool as a younger band to wake up to a whole ton of comments and new fans.

You have also played so many great festivals, What are they like?

Festivals are so much fun. The biggest crowd we’ve played to was a festival in our hometown in Australia to 15000 people. One of the coolest aspects is all the other artists on the bill that we get to meet and chat to. We we’ve been lucky enough to share the stage with some acts much bigger than us and it’s always great to hear their stories and advice or even just have share some drinks!
What is your dream festival to perform?

Coachella would be amazing. Glastonbury is also up there.

What made you get into music?

We all loved performing and loved playing instruments growing up. I think everyone secretly everyone wants a career as a rockstar so as young, naïve teenagers we decided to pursue it!

Are you signed?

We signed with Universal Music Australia for distribution of our debut album last year, but we are now unsigned and doing the next EP independently.

Will you be touring this year?

Yes! We’ve been touring since the start of the year and will be continuing throughout the rest of the year.

If so, where will you be heading?

At this point, just America and Australia.

Who are your influences?

This is a hard question because there are so many new and innovative artists that inspire you to keep going and to keep creating. Songwriting-wise would be Max Martin, Ryan Tedder or Dr Luke.

How do you get inspiration to write songs?

Usually from personal experiences or stories that have happened to us, our friends or family. We try to be always be aware of what is happening around us and try to translate that to music.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully touring and playing bigger shows, writing with bigger artists and still growing and learning.

When your not doing music, what do you do?

I’m a graphic designer so I do a lot of art. I also love to snowboard and travel.

You are from Australia, what is the music scene like over there?

It’s a lot smaller than here in America, but there are some incredible artists back home. The festivals are also a lot of fun.

What would be your dream venue to play in your hometown?

One of the stadiums in each major city would be a pretty wild achievement!

For anyone visiting Australia, where would you recommend they go?

Anywhere on the beach. Australia is beautiful and has some incredible rainforests up north too. Sydney and Melbourne are insanely fun.

If you could collaborate with one UK Artist or Band who would it be?

Ed Sheeran or Coldplay would be a dream. The 1975 would be dope too.

If you could collaborate with one US Artist or Band who would it be?

One Republic  or The Weeknd would be a lot of fun.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?

Aim to remain humble and believe in yourself daily.

What quote or saying do you always stick by?

One quote I often think of is ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day.’ It’s cliché but it’s very relevant to the music industry. You have to have a lot of skill but you also have to have a lot of luck and this helps me every time I doubt myself to keep building and growing.

When you are at a gig, what are 5 things you cannot forget?

The melodies, the lighting, the production, the venue and the clothes the performers wear.
